Planmeca Viso® G3 is a hypermodern and truly multifunctional 3D imaging device, offering both panoramic and CBCT capabilities for a broad range of extraoral imaging needs. With a maximum FOV of 20 x 10 cm, the 3D unit brings both industry-leading usability and visibility for various clinical purposes, including endodontic treatments and implant planning.
The imaging programs you need
Planmeca Viso G3 is a full-featured and comprehensive 3D unit, which enables imaging everything from a single tooth to the entire jaw. Its imaging programs range from 3D dental and ENT to panoramic imaging as well as cephalometry.
Clever software and enhancement tools
As with all Planmeca Viso imaging systems, Planmeca Viso G3 features several innovative imaging tools and algorithms, including the proprietary Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ protocol and Planmeca CALM® motion artefact correction. The device also works seamlessly with the Planmeca Romexis® all-in-one dental software.

Effortless positioning with live patient view
Planmeca Viso G3 is equipped with a high-quality camera system which allows seeing the patient live. Whether you are working directly on the device or from the workstation, the live patient view allows aligning the FOV precisely while making free volume adjustments. At the same time, the open architecture offers patient comfort and allows the patient to face the user as well.
Superior patient support solution
The robust top head support of Planmeca Viso G3 enables effortless and steady positioning that is also comfortable for the patient. The unit can also be furnished with the celebrated read head support of Planmeca Viso® G5 and Planmeca Viso® G7.
Optimised quality for challenging cases
The 120 kV tube voltage enables optimised quality and is extremely helpful even in more challenging imaging cases – reducing artifacts and ensuring great image quality also when imaging patients with larger heads.
Endodontic imaging
Take advantage of clear high-resolution images with a 75 μm voxel size using Endo mode. The image quality can be optimised even further with the AI-powered Planmeca NOA™ noise optimisation tool for the crispest possible diagnostic images.
Planmeca ProCeph™ cephalostat
Expand your imaging capabilities even further with the effective Planmeca ProCeph™ one-shot cephalostat. The short acquisition time minimises the effect of patient movement on images. It is an adaptable solution which offers a range of image sizes for any orthodontic imaging needs.

High quality technology generates high-quality images. The imaging sensors of Planmeca Viso G3 combined with the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ protocol and Planmeca CALM® motion artefact correction ensure that you always get the diagnostic image you need at the lowest possible dose.
Planmeca ProFace® 3D face photos
Planmeca ProFace® is Planmeca’s innovative face photo option, which allows taking detailed dose-free 3D photos of your patients with your imaging device. Superimpose the photos with CBCT images and intraoral scans to create a virtual patient that boosts patient communication and case acceptance.
